The Society of Asian Scientists & Engineers (SASE) aims to help scientists, engineers, and technologists reach their full career potential through professional development, cultural awareness, and giving back to their community. Professional Development

Did you know that SASE members have received co-op opportunities through SASE? Being a SASE member has many benefits that can line you up for your next job! In addition, SASE hosts workshops to develop leadership and professional skills. You can learn interview skills, have your resume reviewed, establish technical skills, and much more.

Community Service

Do good and feel good while helping those in need. Making contributions to our local community is an important aspect of SASE. Being a good leader involves helping those around you, and we uphold this philosophy by volunteering and participating in community service events around the city.

Celebrating Diversity

Explore different cultures throughout SASE. Whether it be on campus or in the workplace, we encourage an environment where we can learn from people from all different backgrounds. We host cultural events such as a hotpot night, spring-roll making, or ramen night, while also collaborating with other diversity focused organizations.

What's Next?

So you've decided that you want to join SASE. We are glad to have you on-board! Here are a few steps you can take to get the most out of this amazing organization and be recognized as an official, active SASE Drexel member.

Step 1. Register to become a SASE Drexel member on Dragonlink

Signing up on Dragonlink will keep you in our official roster with Drexel University and will also sign you up for our mailing list.

Step 2. Attend at least THREE (3) events per quarter
​

You are considered an active member if you attend at least THREE (3) events per quarter (Fall, Winter, Spring) and you must be in attendance for at least half of the event. TWO(2) events per quarter must be centered around one of the three pillars of SASE to count towards active membership. Our board will also send you an e-mail receipt for each event you signed in to so you can keep track of your event attendance. So make sure you sign in!
